Rijja is an Associate Lawyer at North Star Legal practising in the areas of corporate, securities, and investment funds. She completed her summer and articling terms at a national full-service law firm where she gained experience in corporate, mergers and acquisitions, and securities litigation.

Rijja earned her Juris Doctor degree from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law. Prior to her legal education, she attended the University of Waterloo for her undergraduate and post-graduate studies in social work.

During law school, Rijja worked as a Caseworker at Legal Assistance of Windsor, where she served a diverse range of clients in the Windsor-Essex County by providing legal services in the areas of housing, social assistance, small claims, CERB, and immigration law.
