She has built candidate relationships, interviewed, and represented senior-level candidates from top-tier companies such as Google, Meta, Microsoft, Apple, Amazon, and Netflix, consistently delivering high-caliber talent. Her expertise in executive recruitment has helped shape leadership teams in some of the most innovative and competitive industries.

In 1999, Maria founded her boutique candidate research firm, About Candidates Inc., providing recruitment services to search firms and consulting firms, including Deloitte, PWC, EY, and KPMG, establishing long-term partnerships with these global firms.

Maria holds an Arts (English) Degree from the University of Waterloo, Canada.
